This Responsible Activism Workshop is an opportunity to come together with peers from the SFU community to explore and learn from each other on how to be responsible activists. In this event, we will be discussing ways to support groups and communities according to their needs while exchanging personal and cultural backgrounds, and perspectives with each other. Through workshop-style activities, we will collaboratively design a tool kit of skills and approaches to participate or initiate an activist movement, particularly under the umbrella of climate justice.

How can we make sure communities’ needs are being understood? How can we make sure our activist efforts attend those needs?
6:50-7:10: Break
7:10-7:50: Responsible Activism Activity in small groups
By the end of this activity, each group will have designed a toolkit on activism for their chosen climate justice movement
7:50-8:15: Closing Activity and short Feedback Survey
