ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Paola Quirós-Cruz is one of the Educators at the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office. She will bring us into a new exploration of Latin American flavours while co-creating recipes for change to ignite caring communities. Paola has been cooking since an early age, and at one moment she considered becoming a chef. She celebrates life and the Doña’s (matriarchs) who have taught her unforgettable and tasty recipes. While Latin America is a vast, culture-rich land, and it would be impossible to finish this journey in one session, Paola will make sure to open your curiosity about Latin American cuisine and invite you to explore the importance of ingredients and flavours in traditional dishes of Latinx people.
