Get popcorn and a pen ready! Let’s learn, reflect, and advocate for Indigenous-led land stewardship together.
We‘ll start off this event by watching a documentary short film by Carter Kirilenko called Salmon Parks, which follows an Indigenous-led movement to restore British Columbia’s wild salmon population. We’ll then host a facilitated discussion and letter writing session where we’ll advocate for Indigenous land stewardship to those who hold power.
Join us to learn more about current Indigenous-led efforts, ask questions, and take action!
Our thanks and recognition to CPAWS-BC for their contribution to the creation of Salmon Parks.
