Embark’s Community Kitchen: Welcome to a new semester

About this Event

Community Kitchens are a low-barrier gathering space where SFU students come together to cook and enjoy a four-course vegetarian or plant-based meal over a three-hour period. Join us for the first Community Kitchen for the spring semester, at the Women’s Centre January 16th. Read below on this month’s facilitator, Leem Ibrahim.

Acknowledgments

This event is being hosted on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. In particular, this includes the land of the Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam, Skwxwú7mesh, and Kwikwetlem nations where we work, live, and play.

Accessibility

The Women’s Centre has opened up their lounge (TC 3013) to all genders for this Community Kitchen. The Women’s Centre is wheelchair accessible.

This event is a collaboration between Embark and the SFSS Women’s Centre. Embark events are free and open to Embark members which includes Simon Fraser University undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Embark Associate Members.
