1:30 PM – 3:30 PM PDT
Join us for a hands-on workshop where creativity meets sustainability! In this session, we will unlock the power of upcycling and learn how to transform old t-shirts into stylish, reusable tote bags. This is a fun and practical way to fight back against the waste of fast fashion while giving new life to materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Let’s get crafty, make a statement, and create something beautiful while minimizing our ecological footprint! Feel free to bring materials from home that you’d like to upycle.
This event takes place on the unceded homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and kʷikʷəƛw̓əm (Kwikwetlem) Nations.
