Welcoming back our oh-so-popular Career Night!

How can sustainability be incorporated into different sectors and careers like consulting, entrepreneurship, management, and even more creative pathways like urban planning, social work, and visual arts?

Explore ‘Creativity in Sustainability’ at this Career Night.

Join us and draw inspiration from industry professionals working in creative areas of sustainability, looking at how our creativity and inspire sustainable work in different career paths.

Career Night is an opportunity for students from SFU, UBC & CityStudio Alumni to learn from professionals championing sustainability in various fields. Speakers will share their innovative journeys followed by a space for networking and for students to find answers to their career-related questions.

Light snacks will be provided. RSVP required! Must present a valid BC post-secondary student ID.

AGENDA

6:00 pm – Doors open

6:30 pm – Presentations by industry professionals

7:45 pm – Break out sessions (structured networking)

This event is jointly organized by Embark Sustainability, CityStudio Vancouver, and UBC Common Energy.

ACCESSIBILITY

This event is taking place at CityStudio Vancouver. The venue is a short 7-minute walk from the Olympic Village Canada Line Skytrain station (below the Cambie bridge). We strongly encourage that participants take public transit and bike racks are available at the venue. Alternatively, there is pay parking available on the adjacent street.
