Embark’s elected Board Members represent the society’s 35,000+ undergraduate and graduate student members, ensuring the work and mission of Embark Sustainability are in alignment with the sustainability interests of their peers.

Our Board Members collaborate to develop and update organizational policies, ensure good relations with the SFU student community, and review and approve financial statements, among other responsibilities. Grow professionally and connect with others who share your interests! Interested candidates must attend one 20 minute info session. See below for info session dates:

Embark Sustainability’s Board of Directors strive to represent all undergraduate and graduate students at SFU, and centre diverse student voices in our work. We strongly encourage applications from members of communities that are marginalized or that experience structural discrimination.

Embark Sustainability events are free and open to Embark members which includes Simon Fraser University undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Embark Associate Members.
