The sun is the main source of energy and heat for life on earth. Join us to reconnect with nature through your senses, celebrate the bountiful harvest we enjoy during the autumn equinox, and learn how to garden successfully within the cycles of the sun and other elements.
This event will take place on the unceded homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and kʷikʷəƛw̓əm (Kwikwetlem) Nations.
Embark Sustainability events are free and open to Embark members which includes Simon Fraser University undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Embark Associate Members.
This event will be held outdoors in Embark Sustainability’s Burnaby Learning Garden, located on the south side of TASC1.
