Do you have questions about how to tackle climate change as a student? Our Climate Action team has got your back and is inviting anyone interested in learning about tangible ways to help mitigate climate change at the individual level to join them at an “Ask Me Anything” Instagram Live fireside chat.
Embark’s Climate Action team is hosting AMAs to engage their fellow students in meaningful conversations around everyday sustainable choices. We are therefore excited to introduce our guest for the November 20th fireside chat, Anuki Karunajeewa.
My name is Anuki, my pronouns are she/hers or they/them. I’m the current SFSS Faculty of Environment Rep, and president of @DogwoodSFU. I am majoring in Resource and environmental management (REM) and minoring in Sociology. I have volunteered with Embark in the past within the social sustainability cohort!
I am a student activist who is passionate about climate justice and social justice. A current campaign I am part of is the @studentsagainsttmx campaign.
If you would like to connect or get involved with our campaign, my club or the SFSS, my email is envrep@sfss.ca.
